Updating plugins and themes

Available updates appear per site with the current and new versions. Update one item or several at once, straight from the dashboard.

Core updates work the same way — one click, with the previous version recorded first.

How rollbacks work

Before every update we record the version you were on. If the update causes trouble, open the update history and click roll back — we reinstall the previous version from the WordPress.org repository.

Update history

Every update and rollback is logged per site: what changed, from which version to which, when, and by whom.

Limitations

Rollbacks cover plugins and themes distributed via WordPress.org. Rollbacks are not backups — keep your own backup regime for content and database changes.
